Position Overview
TutorCloud.ai is seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager
(BDM) to drive institutional sales and business growth within the assigned territory. The role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with educational institutions, conducting product demonstrations, and converting prospects
into long-term customers.
The ideal candidate should possess strong field sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with key educational stakeholders. As the
frontline revenue driver for TutorCloud.ai, the BDM will play a critical role in expanding market presence, generating revenue, and establishing TutorCloud.ai as the preferred AI
powered learning platform across educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Prospecting
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new educational institutions within the assigned territory. The role involves approaching schools, colleges, and coaching institutes to generate qualified business
opportunities. The incumbent will build relationships with key decision-makers, including principals, trustees, directors, and institution management teams, with the objective of
creating a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
2. Product Demonstration & Solution Selling
The Business Development Manager will represent TutorCloud.ai’s AI-powered learning solutions through impactful product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations. The
role requires effectively communicating product benefits, showcasing value propositions, explaining the impact of AI-driven learning outcomes, and addressing customer concerns. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor, helping institutions understand how
TutorCloud.ai can enhance learning effectiveness and student outcomes.
3. Sales Conversion & Revenue Generation
The Business Development Manager will manage the complete sales cycle, including proposal preparation, commercial discussions, negotiation, follow-up, and deal closure.
The role requires maintaining consistent engagement with prospects, managing sales opportunities effectively, and ensuring the timely conversion of leads into revenue generating customers. The incumbent will work closely with the City Sales Head to achieve assigned revenue targets and contribute to the city’s overall business objectives.
4. Market Intelligence & Business Insights
The Business Development Manager will continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and challenges. The role involves gathering market intelligence, sharing actionable insights with management, and contributing to the development of effective sales and market expansion strategies. The incumbent will play an important role in helping TutorCloud.ai remain competitive and responsive to customer needs.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Commerce, or a related field.
