City Sales Head

Position Overview

TutorCloud.ai is seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial City Sales Head to lead business growth and institutional partnerships within the assigned city. The role will act as the overall business owner for the city, responsible for revenue generation, institutional acquisition, customer success, team leadership, and market expansion. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in institutional sales, educational partnerships, and team management, with the ability to build a sustainable revenue engine and establish TutorCloud.ai as the preferred AI-powered learning platform across schools, colleges, universities, and coaching institutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Ownership

The City Sales Head will be responsible for owning and achieving the complete revenue targets for the assigned city. The role involves driving consistent monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue growth through effective sales planning and execution. The incumbent will build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline, ensure the achievement of institutional sales and collection targets, and provide accurate business forecasts to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.

2. Institutional Acquisition

The City Sales Head will lead the acquisition of educational institutions by developing strategic partnerships with schools, school chains, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, and skill development centers. The role requires building strong relationships with key decision-makers including principals, trustees, chairpersons, directors, and management committees. Through consultative selling and relationship-driven engagement, the City Sales Head will position TutorCloud.ai as the preferred AI-powered learning solution within the city’s educational ecosystem.

3. Team Leadership

The City Sales Head will be responsible for building, leading, and developing a high performing sales team. This includes recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve their targets. The role requires monitoring sales productivity, conducting regular performance reviews, driving field sales effectiveness, improving conversion ratios, and ensuring that all team members consistently meet their assigned KPIs and business objectives.

4. Market Expansion

The City Sales Head will drive market expansion by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the assigned city. The role involves establishing local partnerships, creating referral networks, and building strong relationships across the educational ecosystem. The incumbent will actively represent TutorCloud.ai at educational conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and strengthen market presence.

5. Customer Relationship Management

The City Sales Head will maintain and nurture strategic relationships with institutional stakeholders to ensure long-term customer success and satisfaction. The role includes driving customer retention initiatives, supporting renewals, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. The incumbent will work closely with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, successful implementation, and continuous value delivery to partner institutions.
