Position Overview

TutorCloud.ai is seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused Deputy City Sales Head to support the City Sales Head in driving institutional sales, revenue growth, team performance, and market expansion within the assigned city. The role is a critical leadership position and serves as the second-in-command for city operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in institutional sales, business development, and stakeholder management, with the ability to manage daily field operations, improve sales productivity, and contribute significantly toward achieving the city’s revenue objectives. This position is designed as a leadership pipeline role for future City Sales Head responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Execution

The Deputy City Sales Head will play a key role in driving the city’s sales execution by generating institutional meetings, conducting product demonstrations, managing proposals, and supporting the closure of business opportunities. The role requires active participation in the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, while ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. The incumbent will also assist in managing high-value opportunities and strategic accounts to maximize revenue generation.

2. Team Support

The Deputy City Sales Head will support the development and performance of the sales team by guiding Business Development Managers (BDMs), conducting field coaching sessions, and ensuring adherence to sales processes and best practices. The role involves monitoring daily activity reports, identifying productivity improvement opportunities, and helping team members enhance their conversion ratios and overall effectiveness.

3. Pipeline Management

The Deputy City Sales Head will be responsible for maintaining a healthy sales funnel and ensuring the smooth progression of opportunities through various stages of the sales cycle. The role includes tracking leads and opportunities, coordinating follow-ups with prospective clients, monitoring conversion rates, and providing accurate pipeline visibility to the City Sales Head. The incumbent will ensure that sales activities remain aligned with revenue goals and business priorities.

4. Strategic Account Management

The Deputy City Sales Head will manage relationships with key institutions and strategic accounts within the city. The role includes supporting large school-chain opportunities, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and coordinating with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation. The incumbent will contribute to customer retention, account growth, and long-term institutional partnerships.
