Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects across multiple product lines. The Project Manager will work
closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, Sales, Customer Success, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and at the expected quality.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and Agile project delivery skills. This role requires balancing business priorities with technical execution while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
Agile Project Management
- Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies, including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Backlog Refinement
- Monitor sprint progress and team velocity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs.
- Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Conduct project review meetings and steering committee updates.
- Build strong relationships with customers, business teams, and internal departments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource Planning
- Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively.
- Coordinate with engineering managers to balance workloads.
- Identify resource constraints and propose mitigation strategies.
- Forecast resource requirements for upcoming projects.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project risks proactively.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Maintain project risk and issue registers.
- Escalate critical risks and blockers appropriately.
- Drive timely resolution of project issues.
Budget & Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets and resource utilization.
- Track project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Provide financial status reports when required.
Scope & Change Management
- Manage project scope throughout the lifecycle.
- Evaluate change requests for impact on schedule, budget, and resources.
- Facilitate change approval processes.
- Ensure proper documentation of approved changes.
Quality Management
- Ensure adherence to established SDLC processes.
- Coordinate testing and quality assurance activities.
- Verify that deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices.
Release Management
- Coordinate software release planning.
- Work closely with DevOps for deployment readiness.
- Ensure release checklists are completed.
- Support production rollout and post-release monitoring.
- Coordinate rollback planning when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation including:
- Project Charter
- Project Plans
- RAID Log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Process Improvement
- Improve project delivery processes.
- Standardize templates and project documentation.
- Drive project governance initiatives.
- Recommend process improvements based on project retrospectives.
- Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
Technical Skills

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience managing software development projects.
- Proven experience leading Agile software development teams.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience delivering SaaS or cloud-based applications.
